Hurley and the Walthams Neighbourhood Plan Referendum - Thursday 23 November 2017

A referendum relating to the adoption of the Hurley and the Walthams Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 23 November 2017. The question which will be asked in the referendum is "Do you want the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Hurley and the Walthams to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

The referendum area is identical to the area which has been designated as the Hurley, White Waltham and Waltham St Lawrence neighbourhood area, covering the parishes of Hurley, White Waltham, Waltham St Lawrence and Shottesbrooked Parish Meeting.

Bray Parish Elections - Bray Village ward and Bray Holport Ward - Thursday 16 November 2017

There are two casual vacancies in the office of Parish Councillor on Bray Parish Council; one in Bray Village ward and another in Bray Holyport ward. Elections to fill the vacancies will be held on Thursday 16 November 2017. The relevant documentation can be viewed below:

UK Parliamentary Election - Thursday 8 June 2017

There was a UK Parliamentary election on Thursday 8 June 2017. The (Acting) Returning Officer at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead was responsible for declaring the results for the constituencies of Windsor and Maidenhead.

More information about the election will appear on this page as more details are known.

The deadline to register to vote in the general election for those people who do not yet have an entry on the electoral register, is Monday 22 May 2017. New applications should be made at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. Poll cards will be sent out w/c Monday 8 May  to those electors who are already registered to vote.

Postal voting

For those electors who anticipate that they will be away around 8 June and do not yet have a postal vote in place, they should complete a postal vote application form and ensure that it reaches Electoral Services by 5pm on Tuesday 23 May 2017. Applications may be downloaded from www.yourvotematters.co.uk/how-do-i-vote/voting-by-post

Postal votes will be issued on the following dates:

Friday 19 May - Postal votes being sent to an overseas address where applications are received by 27 April

Wednesday 24 May - Postal votes being sent to a UK address where applications are received by 27 April

Friday 26 May - Postal votes being sent to both overseas and UK addresses where applications are received between 28 April and 19 May

Thursday 1 June - Postal votes being sent to both overseas and UK addresses where applications are received between 20 May and 23 May by 5pm

Proxy voting

For those electors who would like to appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf, they should ensure that a proxy vote application form reaches Electoral Services by 5pm on Wednesday 31 May 2017. Applications may be downloaded from www.yourvotematters.co.uk/how-do-i-vote/voting-by-proxy

Clewer North Borough Ward - Thursday 4 May 2017

There was one casual vacancy in the office of councillor for Clewer North Borough Ward. In accordance with the Local Government Act 1972, a Notice of Vacancy had been published. Requests from two electors within the Borough to fill the vacancy by election had been received. An election will was held on 4 May 2017. All of the relevant documentation may be viewed below.

Sunninghill and South Ascot Parish By-Election - Thursday 19 January 2017
