Apply for a temporary resident parking permit
We can provide a temporary resident permit if:
- You are in the process of changing your vehicle (valid for a period of up to 14 days),
- Your vehicle is off the road due to mechanical failure, damage or scheduled maintenance, and you are using a hire vehicle (valid for a period of up to one month).
We cannot issue a Temporary Permit when you move into a new property.
The permit will be sent by PDF via e-mail within two working days. This needs to be printed off and displayed in the vehicle in order to avoid a Penalty Charge Notice.
You will need to provide supporting documents such as:
- copy of the lease agreement,
- letter from the garage,
- letter from insurance company,
- proof of ownership.
Please note that failure to provide the correct documentation will mean that the permit cannot be issued.
