The Landing will create a new gateway and meeting place in the heart of Maidenhead. The project is funded by Smedvig Capital who have appointed HUB as development managers for the scheme.
An island site in the centre of town, bounded by Broadway, King Street and Queen Street, and located between the High Street and Maidenhead railway station.
The existing site already benefits from planning permission for the demolition of existing buildings to construct a mixed-used town centre neighbourhood including up to 5,046sqm of retail use, 36,304sqm of office use, 22,770sqm of residential use, and 150 car parking spaces located in a underground basement.
Following on from extensive public consultation a new planning application for 454 homes, a new office building, car parking, ground floor retail and a new vibrant public space was submitted in May 2018.
The Landing, located in the centre of Maidenhead, will maximise the benefits of Crossrail for Maidenhead and encourage further investment in the town.
The planning application is available to view online.
