Council tax refund scam

Some residents have received correspondence claiming to be from the council offering a council tax refund. We are not involved in this activity.

Opening hours for new resident hubs

The new library and resident service is now available from three hubs, Windsor, Maidenhead and Ascot Durning libraries.

Residents are able to access a range of services seven days a week. All visits being made in person will be carried out at Maidenhead library, Windsor library and Ascot Durning library instead of the Town Hall, Maidenhead or York House, Windsor, which is currently closed for refurbishment.

Services will include:

  • Council Tax,
  • benefits,
  • green waste,
  • missed bin collections,
  • assisted and special waste collections,
  • street-lighting,
  • potholes and fly-tipping reporting,
  • housing options,
  • parking,
  • school admissions,
  • licensing, and 
  • blue badges.
