Health Makers: Free Self Management Courses

Berkshire NHS Foundation Trusts Health-Makers are offering free self-management courses that teach you how to manage your long term health condition.

Through a series of interactive workshops, you'll cover a range of topics, including:

  • The benefits of good self management and how it can improve your quality of life.
  • Anxiety management.
  • Goal setting.
  • Living with a long term condition.
  • Developing a good and effectively relationship with your healthcare professionals.

The course, which is commissioned by the NHS, is run by two fully qualified facilitators.

Who can access the course?

This course is available to anyone living with a long term health condition in East Berkshire (Ascot, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Sandhurst, Slough and Windsor). To get the most from your experience, you need to be willing to work with others to improve your quality of life.
