Mental Health Fundraising Coffee morning at SportsAble!

Published: Tuesday, 14th May 2019

The Royal Borough and Magpies in the community are working together on a fantastic project on the Friday 17 of May 2019.

It will take place at SportsAble, Braywick Park, Braywick Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1BN from 9am to 4pm.

This project will see not only a walking football tournament run on the day with 12 teams of over 60’s males competing but we will also have local charities present to provide information and other partners present to speak to the local residents about local opportunities.

These partners include:

  • Number 22 Counselling service,
  • MIND UK – Friends in Need,
  • SportsAble,
  • Thames Valley Police,
  • Three Discovery,
  • Berks and Bucks FA,
  • Ramblers,
  • Maidenhead Cycling Hub and the SMILE charity.

Come and join us for coffee, cake and conversation or join in one of the free activities/workshops that are taking place on the day.  For all activities and workshops please arrive 15 minutes beforehand.  On arrival make your way to the registration tent by the Braywick all-weather pitch (next to SportsAble), where the team will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Further information on each of the free activities/workshops can be on the event flyer.
